  • Cyber Threat Fundamentals: Understanding attacker motivations, entry points, and the ripple effects of system breaches on business operations.

  • Recognizing Attack Vectors: Identifying social engineering techniques, malware delivery methods, ransomware encryption demands, hidden keyloggers, botnet risks, scareware pop-up traps, and physical USB “drop traps”.

  • Credential & Password Hygiene: Creating high-entropy passphrases (8+ characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols), eliminating password reuse, and leveraging secure password managers.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Securing logins with push notifications, avoiding SMS vulnerabilities, and handling unauthorized login prompts.

  • Device & App Security: Applying the Principle of Least Privilege to application permissions and strictly restricting unauthorized external storage devices.
